Building for Longevity in an Ephemeral Industry

I don’t just build for the web; I engineer for stability. My approach is rooted in a simple philosophy: do it right the first time so you don’t have to do it again later. In an industry often distracted by the newest “shiny” dependency, I prioritize elegant, maintainable code and architectural rigor.

My fascination with how things work started in workshops and projector booths, but it evolved into a career dedicated to high-standard web development. Whether I am architecting enterprise solutions for my day job or managing my own firm, 608 Software, my goal is the same: eliminate technical debt before it starts.

My professional life and personal hobbies often blur at the edges. I am a daily Linux driver. I spend my “free” time managing a home lab environment (Proxmox, Tailscale, Docker), building ruggedized portable hardware, and preserving physical media. If I’m not refining something digital, I’m likely tending to a sourdough starter, smoking a brisket, or restoring vintage game hardware. I believe in owning your tools, your data, and your craft.
